Tattoo the Shoe

Tattooing's relationship with the sea is undeniable and long since the preserve of generations of seafarers and trend-setters alike, paying homage to the artform's heritage and traditions.

For the final week of Sperry Top-Sider's recent Pop Up retail space they have employed the services of one such artist to create a unique collection of customised footwear.

London based Nick Horn has individually adorned 12 pairs of the iconic Sperry Top-Sider AO boat shoe for the Neal Street space. Every shoe features unique artwork painstakingly applied by hand using traditional tattoo techniques. 

Working out of the world renowned Good Times tattoo shop in London's Shoreditch, Nick's lengthy waiting list is testament to his increasing reputation.

To celebrate the partnership, join us in-store Thursday 10th July, 2014 from 5pm for drinks, DJs & Nick Horn himself, who will be showcasing his exclusive designs and live tattooing product in-store.
