Alix of Bohemia Trunk Show at FLAT 128

Posted by daa at 6:24 PM

FLAT 128 is pleased to present the new collection from ALIX OF BOHEMIA on the first day of spring. The offspring of an Italian textile legacy and generations of French artists, it was at University in Scotland, that Alix Verley Pietrafesa began making clothes by hand, bringing forth to the label ALIX OF BOHEMIA.

Popping up around the globe, from the Hamptons to Hong Kong, ALIX OF BOHEMIA clothes suit the nomadic way. Garments are made for free loving and grand adventure. The London based designer’s creations are inspired by the Psychedelic 60s, Mid-century Bohemians, and the Summer of Love. Each piece is made by hand, by Alix, in limited runs and one-off creations.

Keeping in theme with All Things English at FLAT 128, Bohemia’s current collection pays homage to the British Invasion, the Beatles in India, and Adam and the Ants. Themes are reflected in a playful riff on military styles, patriotic color play, fantastical textiles, and sublime details.

Clients include: Sienna Miller, Liberty Ross, and Caroline Issa.

FLAT 128 is a luxury lifestyle store, dedicated to bringing both emerging and established UK talent to NYC.
